BrdMaker.com is an online store specializing in mechanical and electronic devices and components. The webshop is operated by BrdMaker Oy (Business ID: 2966129-1), a Finnish limited liability company with its registered office in Finland.
By using this website and placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which are available at all times on our website.
Customers may browse and order products available on our website. We accept orders from Finland and other EU countries in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Orders from outside the European Union may be accepted subject to specific conditions.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers made by BrdMaker as an online retailer to you as a customer. Consumers are entitled to all rights granted under applicable consumer protection legislation in Finland and the European Union. In case of conflict, the consumer may always rely on the provision most favorable to them.
BrdMaker reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The applicable terms are those in force at the time of placing the order.
Customers, Liability and Personal Data
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must place the order on your behalf. We reserve the right to refuse orders placed by minors.
We guarantee that our products conform to your order and meet reasonable expectations based on their specifications. Products must be used only for their intended purpose. We also guarantee that our products comply with applicable laws at the time of sale.
BrdMaker is not responsible for any misuse or incorrect assembly of products. By placing an order, you confirm that you have the necessary knowledge and skills to use and assemble the product correctly.
If you are unsure about the suitability of a product, please contact our customer support before placing your order.
To place an order, you must provide accurate contact and billing information. At minimum, this includes your name, address, email address, and phone number.
Customer data is stored in BrdMaker’s customer register and used solely for order processing and related purposes. With your consent, your data may also be used for marketing. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Prices
Product prices are available on our website www.brdmaker.com. All prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include VAT (25.5%), unless otherwise stated.
Prices do not include shipping costs. Shipping costs are calculated during checkout and must be accepted before completing the order.
Customs & Import Taxes
For orders shipped outside the European Union, including the United Kingdom, the buyer is responsible for all import-related charges, including import VAT, customs duties, and any carrier handling or advancement fees. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are non-refundable.
VAT for EU Business Customers
Our webshop is primarily intended for private consumers, and all prices include Finnish VAT (25.5%).
If you are a business customer within the European Union with a valid EU VAT number and wish to purchase under intra-community supply rules (0% VAT / reverse charge), please contact us by email before placing your order.
We will issue a separate invoice with the correct VAT treatment (0% VAT) for eligible transactions.
BrdMaker reserves the right to update prices and delivery costs at any time. The applicable prices are those displayed at the time of purchase.
Placing an Order, Payment and Delivery
To place an order, add products to your cart and provide the required contact and billing details. Then select your preferred delivery method.
Before completing your purchase, you will see an order summary. By confirming the order and accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree to proceed with payment. Once confirmed, the order is final.
An order becomes binding once we have reviewed it, received payment authorization, and sent an order confirmation email. Please note that confirmation may take up to 72 hours.
All orders must be paid in full in advance. Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. If payment is not authorized, the order may be delayed or cancelled. Orders without valid payment cannot be processed. The payment recipient is BrdMaker Oy.
All transactions are secured using SSL encryption.
We only deliver to countries listed at checkout. Orders to unsupported countries may be refused.
Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate. We do not deliver to P.O. boxes.
Orders are shipped via FedEx, and tracking information will be provided.
If a product is out of stock, you may still place an order, but we recommend contacting customer support for delivery estimates.
Estimated delivery time is typically 1–5 business days, depending on availability and destination.
Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure, we will inform you as soon as possible. Once the situation is resolved, we will fulfill our obligations. If delays are excessive, you may cancel your order and receive a refund within five (5) days.
We are not liable for damages caused by force majeure, including but not limited to fire, strikes, power failures, system failures, telecommunications disruptions, or delays caused by suppliers.
Returns, Complaints and Disputes
We handle complaints on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at info@brdmaker.com as soon as possible, describing the issue clearly.
Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days without providing a reason.
To exercise this right, notify us at info@brdmaker.com. You must return the product within 14 days of receiving it. Once the return is received, we will refund the payment (excluding delivery and return costs) within 14 days.
You are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made products.
Missing or Defective Products
You must inspect your order promptly. Any missing or defective items must be reported within 14 days of delivery. If packaging is damaged, please also notify the carrier.
Defective products must be returned as instructed. We will assess the product and notify you of a refund or replacement within a reasonable time.
Right to Refuse Orders
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in exceptional circumstances, including product unavailability or errors. If an order is cancelled, any payment will be refunded within 14 days.
Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may contact the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (https://www.kuluttajariita.fi).
